This was my first visit after a search for a new PCP (primary care physician) because my former PCP is moving toward retirement and is only available 1 day per week. From the moment I started to meet with the nurse, things went well. One example is that she ensured that my arm was chest high and my legs were uncrossed when she took my blood pressure. I can't tell you how often that's not the case at other locations, but it's a high percentage. Dr. Holton was exactly what I need in a doctor. Like the intake nurse, he was prompt, friendly, and a very careful listener. He asked a lot of questions and made several great suggestions regarding my efforts to get healthier and less medicated. I'd prefer to not need any doctors, but that's not the hand I've been dealt. I feel a sense of relief today, knowing I've solved my PCP issue. My only hesitation in giving a positive review is my selfish desire to not have him get too busy to see me in the future.

Dr. Holton, is a kind, knowledgeable and caring doctor. He takes the time to talk with me about my medical conditions and explain the reasons for the change to my medication, etc. He gives me the time to ask questions and express concerns about my health issues without being rushed. I also send any questions or concerns directly to him through MyChart and he always answers me back in a timely manner. I am grateful to have a compassionate , dedicated and detailed-oriented doctor. At the end of my appointment, I always tell Dr. Holton, thank you and then I apologize for taking up so much of his time.

I am always pleased with Dr HOLTON’s covering all the bases. If he hadn’t recommended Dr Edgar I still be limping around I am 2 weeks out of a laminectomy, discectomy and a compression I rate a lot of things in life in terms of humor as life is too short so why not make the most of it . Dr holton can be funny, very dry and corny.. As he moves through the page where all one’s issues are laid out he stop , looks at you and says” ok what else do you have for me today ? he waits for you to respond even when there are “ pregnant pauses”. Dr. Holton is somewhat of an introvert who pushes through that to connect with his Patients He is an anachronism. I know he would visit a patient at home if he thought it important.

I have complete confidence in Dr. Holton’s expertise. His knowledge is current, broad, and deep. I appreciate his calm, patient manner as he listens carefully and asks relevant questions. I always feel “heard” and correctly diagnosed. I and two other family members are fortunate to be in his care.

Dr HOLTON is the best doctor I have ever had. I knew I would want to keep him as my doctor. He listens without sitting at the edge of his seat ready to leave. Dr HOLTON specialty is internal medicine and geriatrics (that would be me) 😉 I followed him from Trinity to the Dune Shores Health and he is now Direct Primary Care. Spends at least an hour with me and goes over everything. Dr HOLTON found the problems that my husband and I have had that our previous doctor kept missing. We knew there was something going on but he kept saying it was fine, EVERYTHING WAS FINE!!! I would highly recommend him.

If you are looking for a caring, thorough, informed, articulate, and forward thinking personal physician, you would be lucky to have Dr. Holton. If you think a personal care physician is too expensive, imagine having care that navigates you to the your desired health options, rather than the “systems”. That is Greg Holton. That can save money, anxiety, and time. Dr. Greg is the Dr my parents spoke of and the one I had a child, before Insurance Companies and Large healthcare systems started dictating your care. I am one of the fortunate to call him my Doctor!
